Audio/Visual Ministry

Providing technical and administrative skills to assist the church's worship and teaching ministries. This includes graphics, PowerPoint presentations, video tape recording and duplication, filming, photography, video editing, and distribution.

AWANA Club
3 Years Old - 12th Grade

Evangelizing, challenging, and training children and youth of our world, through the local church, by providing Bible-based, Christ-centered weekly club programs and activities.

Benevolence Ministry
Gilda Taylor, Director

Demonstrating the love of our Lord in action as we graciously care for those in need; and to prayerfully provide food to the hungry, clothes to those without, and other financial needs to those facing hardship.

Children's Ministry
Wanda Schroeder, Coordinator

Providing weekly and seasonal events -- Children’s Church, AWANA, PAWS-Up-Kids, Vacation Bible School, etc. which assist Christian families in the process of training their children (ages 3-11) for a life-long commitment to the Lord, Jesus Christ, through relevant Biblical teaching, and engaging spiritual preparation.

Community Awareness

Encouraging our members toward a full and mature expression of their Christian faith in the public arena where they will dynamically impact our culture as "salt and light."

Deacon Ministry

Deacons at West Oaks Fellowship actively serve the Body of Christ in the following capacities: administering Communion, practical service to the church body, prayer, encouragement, overseeing the usher ministry, and maintaining order.

Elder Ministry

Our Elders strive to function according to the Biblical, New Testament model of “Elder,” providing biblically-based leadership and direction, as well as spiritual oversight for all aspects of the church's ministry. In addition, our Elder leadership is available on Wednesday evenings for prayer and counsel as well as in difficult or critical situations.

Greeting Ministry

Operating in the biblical admonition of greeting all the saints in love, while welcoming guests to our worship services.

Home Group Ministry

Organizing small group fellowship meetings that provide opportunities for encouragement, prayer, Biblical instruction, along with special emphasis/topical studies, that serve as a catalyst for spiritual growth and developing high-quality, Christ-centered, personal relationships.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

On Sunday morning before the worship service begins, faithful individuals gather together for prayer and make intercession before our Lord for specific needs in our body, the up-coming service, those ministering that morning, our ministry, the community we serve, and the nation.

Jr. High Youth Ministry

Ladies' Ministry

Planning and preparing opportunities for ladies to grow in Christ through teaching, fellowship, and service, while encouraging each one to discover and develop areas of ministry in their home, community, and church.

Men's Ministry

Encouraging the men of WOF to "sharpen" one another through activities, small groups, fellowship, spiritual training, prayer, retreats, and recreation.

Mission Ministry

Offering our financial support, prayers, and encouragement to faithful missionaries who are teaching and training indigenous believers.

Nursery Ministry

Providing loving care for infants and toddlers, allowing parents the opportunity to focus on worship and ministry.

"Our Sons and Daughters" Ministry

Godly men of our men's ministries provide a positive, Godly influence in the lives of children and young people needing this type of encouragement and inspiration.

Persian Outreach
Reza Habibi, Director

A Friday evening ministry designed to reach and train individuals from the Persian culture who are pursuing a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and embracing New Testament Christianity.

Prayer Ministry

Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings individuals gather to pray for one another, the needs of those in our church body and the church's ministry, our community, as well as for national and/or world wide events, issues, tragedies, disasters, etc.

Prison Outreach Ministry

"Sharing The Truth In Love" through special events, weekly discipleship meetings, one-on-one prison visitations, and working in cooperation with "Champions For Life" (Bill Glass) Prison Ministry.

Seniors' Ministry

Honoring and encouraging those in the congregation who are 60 years and older through opportunities for fellowship and activities, as well as drawing on their life experiences to bless others.

Sr. High Youth Ministry
